Braies are your underwear or shorts. You can also tuck your shirttails between your legs as bvd's. Both are very historically correct. Our braies have a drawstring waist & come to mid-thigh.

+ $10 cuff ruffles
Shirts have a bound neck, and pipe sleeves. Upper class shirts often had embroidery and decorated cuffs.
