Inner skirt ties at the raised waistline, 1/2 belt fastens with hooks & eyes. Buttons & loops above the bust line help to shape the front of the dress. An optional bustle pad keeps the back from settling into the small of your back.

1805 Bib Front Dress

Printed cotton with linen lining.

This dress closes with ties at the center front, providing a little bust support. The front is belted up and ties around the waist, then the bib front is buttoned on either side of the chest. Sounds complicated, but is quite easy to do.
The lower sleeve is detachable (whip stitched) to the undersleeve for very hot days.
Cotton is roller printed with a lovely floral pattern in red & blue on a white ground.

1820 or 1910 Empire evening dress (costume)

Acid green cotton with small white geometric print. Muslin lining, wood buttons, stand-up or fold-down collar, belt fastens with hooks & eyes. 2 large non-functioning buttons on the back.

Perfect over-dress or lightweight coat for any 1820's event.

1827 Day Dress with Belt & Pelerine

Green and tan checked cotton homespun with cotton/linen ruffle and vegitable dyed cotton belt. Buckle is unknown material (it's metal).
Dress closes in front with a tie at the waistline and hooks & eyes.
Pelerine closes with one hook & eye at the center front.
Belt can be fastened multiple ways.
Can be worn with or without a corset, though I recommend wearing it with as that provides the proper shape & foundation for the dress. Small sleeve supports can also be worn, and will give it the proper "poof."
(This dress can also be worn as an early 1850 style morning dress by adding white cuffs & collar).

1860's Inspired Ball Gown (costume)

Ruffled hoop skirt, 125". Ruffles are made from various white materials on tan cotton base.

This outfit is a great starter dress for someone interested in Civil War era events or costume balls. Add a blouse for a more authentic look.
Materials are not historically correct.
